- Check to see if your will must be rewritten when moving across state lines
- Bring copy of closing papers from sale of present home
Income Tax Deductions
Keep a detailed record of all moving costs if move is job-related. Many expenses, including fishing trips may be deductible.- Family's travel expenses, including lodging

At Your New Address

- Check pilot light on hot water heater and furnace
- Check Post Office for mail delivery
- Apply for driver's license if in new state
- Register car for new license plates
